Ways to Leave a Lasting Legacy at CRC
Whether through your will, a beneficiary designation, a gift of appreciated assets, or a distribution from your retirement account, each option gives you a thoughtful way to support families in our community for years to come. Some gifts take effect in the future, while others can provide benefits today, and many offer valuable tax advantages along the way.
Because every situation is unique, we encourage you to speak with your financial advisor, attorney, or tax professional about the best way to include Christian Resource Center in your plans.

Frequently Asked Questions About Legacy Giving
Do I need to tell CRC that I've included them in my estate plans?
No, it’s completely up to you. Letting us know helps us plan for the future and thank you personally, but there’s no obligation, and you can keep your gift confidential if you prefer. Sharing your intentions simply allows us to welcome you into the Legacy of Hope Society and keep you connected to the ministry you’re supporting.
Is there a minimum gift amount to leave a legacy?
No. There is no minimum required to make a legacy gift or to become a member of the Legacy of Hope Society. Gifts of every size make a meaningful difference for the families CRC serves, and every legacy helps ensure our work continues for generations to come.
Can I designate my gift to a specific ministry or program?
In many cases, yes. Some donors choose to support CRC’s greatest needs, while others feel called to give toward a specific area, such as our Member Ministries or campus. We’d be glad to talk through your wishes so your gift reflects the causes closest to your heart.
How do I include Christian Resource Center in my will or estate plan?
Your attorney or financial advisor can help you add CRC to your will, trust, or beneficiary designations. They’ll need CRC’s official information to name us correctly, which we’re happy to provide. We always recommend speaking with your own professional advisor to find the approach that’s right for you and your family.
Will I owe taxes on a legacy gift, or are there tax benefits?
Many legacy gifts, such as those from retirement accounts or appreciated assets, can offer meaningful tax advantages for you or your estate. Because everyone’s situation is different, we encourage you to consult your financial advisor or tax professional to understand the benefits that apply to you.
