Questions We Hear All the Time, Answered Honestly
Do I have to be a Christian to get help at CRC?
Absolutely not. CRC is open to everyone regardless of faith, background, or belief. We lead with love and our doors are open to any family who needs support — no questions asked and no strings attached.
Is everything free?
Yes. Every resource and referral available through CRC is completely free of charge. Our mission is to remove barriers, not create new ones.
What if I don't speak English?
You are still completely welcome here. We have Spanish-speaking ministry services on campus, ESL classes available, and team members who can help connect you with support in the language you’re most comfortable in.
Will someone actually follow up with me after I reach out?
Yes — and this is one of the things we take most seriously. When you submit a request or visit our campus, a real person will personally follow up with you to make sure you got what you needed and to check if there’s anything else we can do.
What if I don't know exactly what I need?
That’s completely okay — and honestly, it’s one of the most common things we hear. You don’t have to have it figured out before you reach out. Just tell us what’s going on and we’ll help you figure out the next step together.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. Every conversation and every request is handled with complete care and confidentiality. Your story is yours — we are simply here to help you write the next chapter.
What if I need something you don't have on campus?
If we don’t have it here, we will personally connect you to someone who does. CRC has a trusted network of referral partners across the greater Austin area and we will make sure you end up in the right hands — not just handed a phone number and sent on your way.
Do I need an appointment to come in?
You are always welcome to stop by during our campus hours and someone will be here to help you. If you’d like to make sure someone is available specifically for you, filling out our request form ahead of time is a great way to do that.
